CADCAM Software for All Woven Textiles

Image Types
Organise and categorise all ScotWeave file types (e.g. dobby, jacquard, artwork images) and all standard image file formats (e.g. TIFF, BMP, JPeG etc.).

Database Structure
The database structure can be setup by the user so that you can select your own criteria for categorisng images. Although this does take some initial planning, once implemented it leaves you in full control of how your images are organised rather than imposing a predetermined database structure on your design work.

Automatic Classification
In addition to the above database structure, Archiver can automatically extract technical design information from ScotWeave dobby and jacquard designs (e.g. yarns, weave type, fabric sett) as well as colour information about the design to be used in the database. For non-ScotWeave image files, colour information can be extracted by analysis of the design and used to group designs together by colour.

Quick Search Facilities
Once setup you can use the search facilities of Archiver to locate and display images according to the database categories you setup. This gives you instant access to your designs.Show Me

Universal Use
Archiver can be configured to operate on a single standalone pc, across a local area network within an organisation, or even over the internet. The same techniques are used in each instance to provide you with instant access to your designs.
