Design bureau

ScotWeave offers a comprehensive design bureau service for dobby weave, jacquard weave, and printed textile design which utilises both the expertise of the design trained staff at ScotWeave and the high quality of the ScotWeave software.

Designs can be created from simple briefs sent to our designers or you can come in and work with our designers in the creation of your project. The following work can be readily undertaken:

Dobby projects

• Full design creation
• Colourways and recolouring of designs
• Full colour paper printouts of finished design
• Production instructions (loomcard) for weaving

Jacquard projects

• Full design creation
• Colourways and recolouring of designs
• Full colour paper printouts of finished design
• Loom disk for electronic jacquard

We are happy to discuss additional work outside this specification. Please note that we do not have any production facilities for weaving fabrics but we may be able to locate suitable companies with such facilities if required.
